Abstract: BIM modeling technology (Building Information Modeling) is a data-based tool widely used in engineering design, construction, and management, and is a new tool for architecture and engineering. The application of BIM technology can be carried out throughout the planning, investigation, design, construction, and operation and maintenance phases of the project, realizing data-sharing among all the parties involved in the whole life cycle of the project on the basis of the same multi-dimensional building information model. Building Information Modeling (BIM). This paper combines a domestic medium-sized project as a case study, from the hardware and software configuration, modeling process, parameter coding, synthesis of standardized components and other aspects of the detailed description of the BIM modeling and coding technology in the application of the actual engineering process.
