Abstract: Artificial intelligence technology plays a pivotal role in enhancing college English instruction. It facilitates the accurate identification of individual differences among students, thereby fostering personalized teaching approaches. Moreover, it enables informed instructional decisions based on multidimensional data analysis. In light of the current challenges—such as the polarization of teaching effectiveness resulting from the diverse language proficiency levels among students, the inefficiencies in language application stemming from limited interaction forms between educators and learners, and the misalignment between rigid, outdated curricular content and authentic, pragmatic scenarios—it is essential to establish an adaptive learning system. This system should implement dynamic and tiered teaching strategies, develop intelligent dialogue agents to enrich immersive human-machine interactions, and create a dynamic multimodal corpus to provide scenario-based resources. These initiatives aim to effectively support the innovative evolution of college English teaching models through the application of artificial intelligence technology.
