Abstract: The article analyzes the statements of residents of the Pskov region – representatives of party and Soviet activists, intellectuals, workers, etc. – regarding the socio-political "crisis" in Czechoslovakia, called the "Prague Spring" (1968): excerpts from speeches, questions asked, assessments of what is happening are given.
