Ways to strengthen the interaction of production complexes of Russian mineral resource centers (MRCs) with the economy of surrounding territories

Abstract: The article examines the prospects and mechanisms for strengthening economic and production ties between Russian mineral resource centers and the economies of the surrounding regions. Territorial industrial clusters, as well as industrial parks and production zones with preferential economic regimes, formed on the basis of MSCs, are proposed and considered as possible mechanisms for strengthening the relationship. The experience of the subjects of the Russian Federation (Sakhalin Region) in forming such economic structures is considered.
