Abstract: Pneumopericardium, defined as air within the pericardial space, is a rare complication associated with trauma and intrathoracic procedures. Here we present a case of a 56-year-old female with chronic myeloid leukemia who recently underwent thoracic surgery admitted for hyperleukocytosis.
