Research on the Hybrid Teaching Model for the Electromagnetism Course Based on Polynomial Regression and Random Forest Classifier

Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Electromagnetism is essential for developing basic theoretical and practical skills in the fields of science and engineering physics. It provides a foundational framework for developing theoretical understanding and practical abilities. The subject covers a wide range of knowledge, including complex formulas that require extensive mathematical derivations. To address these challenges, the scholar courses platform provides a comprehensive online teaching model for electromagnetism. Polynomial Regression model is used to explore the relationship between student performance and engagement. Random Forest Classifier help find the key factors of learning. The hybrid learning model for electromagnetism on the scholar courses platform increases student engagement and interest. It also helps them acquire more knowledge, improve their skills, and develop scientific literacy. The implementation of paperless teaching methods has been shown to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of teaching practices, while also promoting more creative and innovative electromagnetism teaching strategies.
