Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This paper aims to explore the method of modeling the growth trajectory of interpreting competence based on learning analytics. By quantitatively analyzing key data such as learning behaviors and learning outcomes of interpreting learners, a dynamic model of interpreting competence growth is constructed, which shows the positive correlation between five independent variables, namely, students' individual linguistic differences, study time, amount of practice, cross-cultural communication experience, and interest in interpreting on the growth trajectory of interpreting competence. The study employs various learning analytics techniques, combined with the practice of interpreting teaching, to comprehensively monitor and evaluate the learning process of interpreting learners, with the aim of providing a scientific basis for interpreting teaching and promoting the effective improvement of learners' interpreting competence. The research results indicate that learning analytics can clearly depict the growth trajectory of learners' interpreting competence, providing strong support for personalized teaching.
