Abstract: The English language has long played an important role in the lives of young people around the world. Ukrainian teenagers are no exception: they actively use Anglicisms, loanwords and expressions, many of which originated from the works of William Shakespeare. It is astonishing that despite a distance of more than 400 years, the lexical innovations of the great playwright remain relevant.
