Abstract: Inland water transport (IWT) plays a key role in Ukraine’s transport system, providing environmentally friendly and energy-efficient transportation. However, climate change—manifesting as rising temperatures, altered precipitation patterns, and increased frequency of extreme weather events—significantly affects the navigational conditions of inland waterways (IWW), particularly the Dnipro, Danube, Dniester, and Southern Bug rivers.
