Abstract: This article highlights how implementing ERP systems can transform Peruvian MSMEs, which represent the vast majority of companies in the country. These systems, which help automate accounting processes, are essential since, in 2022, only a small percentage of MSMEs had complete accounting systems. ERPs not only improve efficiency by reducing financial cycles and facilitating report generation, but also follow a five-phase implementation process. Cloud systems stand out as the most effective option for MSMEs, as they offer flexibility, lower costs, and greater competitiveness, becoming a key investment for the modernization and optimization of these companies.
