Abstract: The purpose of the article: to conduct an economic analysis of export supplies of Russian grain to the world food market. The objectives of the article are to analyze the agro-food situation in the world, its impact on the food situation in the countries of North Africa and the Middle East in 2023. Determining the impact of the political conflict with the West on the dynamics of food prices in international markets, taking into account the volumes of agricultural products exported by Russia. The theoretical and methodological foundation of the study was the use of general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis of statistical indicators of Russian agricultural exports and its impact on meeting world demands, especially for grain in the countries of North Africa and the Middle East. Determining the volatility of prices and volumes of Russian exports in 2021 - 2023. During the analysis, it was established that the emerging situation in the world markets of agricultural products and their pricing was affected by shortages from traditional producing countries such as Russia, caused by the strict Western sanction’s regime against the economy of the Russian Federation. As a result, an increase in the costs of farms in the EU for energy, feed and fertilizers was determined. The result of these processes was an inflationary growth of 7% by May 2023, as well as a decrease in the yield of major agricultural crops in the European Union. In general, a decrease in supplies to world markets of agricultural products provokes famine in the Middle East and North Africa.
