Progress in the Study of the Relationship between Macrophages and Lung Diseases and the Intervention of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract: 巨噬细胞在肺部疾病中具有至关重要的作用，与急性肺损伤、慢性阻塞性肺疾病、肺炎及肺纤维化等多种肺部疾病的病理过程紧密相关。中医药可通过调控巨噬细胞的浸润、极化、自噬等机制，有效缓解肺组织损伤，进而在防治肺部疾病中发挥积极作用。因此，本文通过查阅国内外文献，对巨噬细胞与肺部疾病中的相关性进行综述，阐述中药复方制剂、中药单体及提取物通过多途径调控巨噬细胞改善肺部疾病的研究进展，以期为肺部疾病寻求新疗法和预防措施。Macrophages have a crucial role in lung diseases and are closely related to the pathological processes of many lung diseases such as acute lung injury, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia and pulmonary fibrosis. By regulating the mechanisms of macrophage infiltration, polarisation and autophagy, Chinese medicine can effectively alleviate lung tissue injury and thus play an active role in the prevention and treatment of lung diseases. Therefore, this paper reviews the correlation between macrophages and lung diseases by reviewing domestic and international literature, and describes the research progress of TCM compound preparations, TCM monomers and extracts in improving lung diseases by regulating macrophages through multiple pathways, with a view to seeking new therapeutic and preventive measures for lung diseases.
