Abstract: This study aims to compare the effectiveness of presentation and video media in increasing the knowledge of prospective brides and grooms (catin) about the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK) at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Anyer Subdistrict, Serang Regency, Banten. Indonesia’s demographic bonus projected for 2030 presents an opportunity to prepare a high-quality human resource base, with stunting prevention being a top priority. Stunting is a condition of impaired growth in children due to chronic malnutrition, which can affect both physical and mental development. Catin are considered an at-risk group that needs education on health and nutrition, especially during the 1000 HPK. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest with control group approach involving 50 catin, randomly assigned to two intervention groups: presentation group and video group. The results showed that both media significantly improved knowledge, with higher posttest scores compared to pretest scores in both groups. However, there was no significant difference in effectiveness between the presentation and video media. These findings support the use of digital educational media as an effective tool for improving nutritional knowledge among prospective brides and grooms, which may contribute to reducing stunting rates.
