Sobre la desaparecida capilla de San Bernardo en el convento de San Diego del Monte de La Laguna

Abstract: In 1677, the priest Bernardo Martín de Fleitas obtained permission to found a chapel in the cloister of the convent of San Diego del Monte, outside the walls of the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. He endowed it splendidly and not long afterwards gave it to the Counts of Valle de Salazar. The chapel was abandoned until the second count revitalised it and changed its dedication. The closure of the convent meant that the space and its movable goods were forgotten and disappeared. This article takes a look at its history and analyses the few remains that survive.
