Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to describe the environmental impact assessment of Poland's planned first nuclear power plant. The paper presents scientific considerations on the nature of the decision, taking into account the results of this assessment. It is stated that the environmental conditions for the implementation of the project are determined on the basis of an argumentative model of the application of the law. The material and legal basis is the principle of sustainable development.
