Abstract: The considerations presented in this study aim to determine the legal nature of the so-called social contract. For this reason, the doctrinal view that the said agreement is an example of the so-called administrative contract is presented. The considerations include the analysis of arguments concerning the social contract itself, as well as studies of the administrative contract as such and its various variants in Polish law.
