Effect of thermal treatments on high surface area anatase TiO 2

Abstract: In situ IR spectroscopy reveals conversion of H-bonded to free OH groups on TiO 2 surfaces during heating, highlighting strong water–surface interactions. Water promotes sintering, while vacuum/dry flows have limited textural impact.
