Abstract: Linear Perspective is the principle that has allowed artists to create the illusion of three-dimensional depth on any flat surface. Its rules have been developed over centuries, and have primarily been used in architecture, illustration, and painting. However there has never been an easy way to understand all the rules of Perspective, and many have been unable to master it. With the developments in Mixed Reality and a new rule of perspective I discovered called Seven-Point Perspective, viewers can observe all the rules of Linear Perspective overlayed with their own vision. This paper explores this new discovery of Seven-Point Perspective through a Mixed Reality experience, and its potential applications across industries.
