Abstract: In memory of Slavko Milekic (1955–2024) This paper explores the use of advanced voice-based AI technology, specifically ChatGPT in interactive mode, as a potentially innovative application for enhancing visitor engagement in museum contexts. A focus of the paper is a case study conducted at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo in February 2025 which evaluated the implementation of an AI-driven interactive virtual guide designed to assist and inform visitors.
