Abstract: Purpose - To identify activities in the field of generational diversity management (GDM) in connection with the declared organizational values described semantically with terms characteristic of the culture of respect. To determine the relationship between embedding GDM in a culture of respect and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) activities. Research method - Analysis of the literature on the subject, as well as selected documents and job advertisements published on the websites of 53 organisations listed as the most advanced in terms of diversity and inclusion management in Poland in 2023. Results - The analysis showed that in an elite group of enterprises, leaders in diversity and inclusion management, in the GDM programs, there are references to selected instruments such as intergenerational integration projects, age¬ appropriate health prevention or mentoring. Organizational values on which effective intergenerational cooperation should be based are much less often emphasized. In the documents of companies that refer to organizational values in GDM programs, there are descriptions characteristic of the culture of respect. However, these values are rarely presented in the mission, vision or strategy of the organization. They are also very rarely communicated to stakeholders in recruitment advertisements. Respect as a key value in managing generational diversity is therefore an element of EVP to a limited extent. Originality / value / implications / recommendations - There is a need to communicate more clearly the activities carried out within the GDM to external stakeholders. It was emphasized that respect should be included as a value in the mission, vision and strategy of the organization, as well as in the principles of implementing the HR policy. This is the basis for creating and promoting behaviours based on respect for the age diversity of various categories of employees, but above all the managerial staff. Embedding the GDM in a respectful culture should be part of the EVP, a key factor in the recruitment and retention of staff representing different age categories.
