Abstract: This paper examines the impact of technology adoption on Environmental Compliance Management policies in various industries. Its goal is to develop a model illustrating the impact of modern technologies on streamlining compliance, data capture, risk mitigation, and enabling proactive response to potential risks. The methodology proposes a system architecture for the ECM (Environmental Compliance Management) system which incorporates the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and facilitates real-time monitoring of environmental parameters and automated reporting. Illustrative results suggest that compliance is achieved at a significantly higher rate, operational cost is lowered, regulatory capture improved, and environmental impact risk reduced with the use of the technologies. This study reveals the essential burden technology can take to offer more intelligent, proficient, and sustainable governance over the environment as well as reducing the burden on the business and the ecology.
