Abstract: The results indicate that variations in employee performance can be explained by work experience. In other words, better work experience leads to improved employee performance. Work experience is a valuable asset that enhances employee performance across various aspects. It not only improves technical knowledge and skills but also enriches interpersonal abilities, leadership qualities, and adaptability, which are crucial in a dynamic work environment. Work experience enables employees to acquire relevant job knowledge, including work procedures and the use of specific tools or technologies. Thus, the research hypothesis stating that "there is a positive effect of work experience on employee performance at the Regional Civil Service agency of Gorontalo Province” is accepted.
