Abstract: Highlights This article presents a clinical case of the development of cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome in a patient after surgical correction of severe aortic stenosis via mini-sternotomy. Abstract Cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome is one of the causes of postoperative cerebral dysfunction development. The syndrome arises as a consequence of an increase in cerebral blood flow velocity after surgical reconstruction or revascularization of the arterial vascular bed that feeds the brain. This is a life-threatening condition that requires timely detection, accurate differential diagnosis and an interdisciplinary team approach. The article presents a case of successful treatment of a patient with cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome developed after surgical correction of severe aortic stenosis.
