A study on education in the department of transport in relation to digital competences and skills

Abstract: Digital literacy is very important due to the rapidly changing information landscape and the large number of online media platforms. The number of sources of information places demands on people to be not only confident, but also knowledgeable and critical in the digital world. The article deals with an overview of digital education in the world and in the European Union. Based on the overview, it presents a proposal for a concept for digital education, stating the general requirements it must meet and a proposal for the creation of a digital textbook.
