Abstract: The article examines the current socio-economic situation and development prospects of the regions using the example of Naryn region, and the presence of regional imbalance in the regions of the republic is formed on the basis of objective and subjective conditions. Increased development rates and balanced development of regions directly affect the socio-economic situation of the economy and the population of the republic as a whole. The current socio-economic situation of the region is also carefully analyzed and the influence of the active work and management of the current government on intensive processes, changes and its dynamics is noted. Each region is geographically Using the example of Naryn region, attempts were made to reflect the fact that the location and characteristics of natural resources have different potential for the development of regions, and that they provide an opportunity to determine the directions of development.
