Abstract: The landscape of practical training methods within Vietnamese vocational colleges is undergoing a significant transformation propelled by digital technology tools like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and learning management systems (LMS). This research assesses how digital technology impacts the efficacy of practical training through a blend of document scrutiny and surveys conducted across vocational institutions. Findings reveal that digital technology boosts interactivity, streamlines costs, and enhances students' hands-on competencies. Nonetheless, challenges persist, including infrastructural constraints and instructors' digital proficiencies. To expedite digital metamorphosis in vocational education, the manuscript advocates for remedies such as infrastructure enhancements, teacher upskilling initiatives, and forging partnerships with industry stakeholders.
