Abstract: The project’s aim is topical treatment of candidiasis utilizing allicin-loaded nanoemulgel via nanoemulsion using various stabilizers and surfactants such as Carbopol, isopropylene myristate, and propylene glycol and the nanoemulgel formulated by homogenization method. Various formulations as well as process parameters were optimized to achieve desirable drug-excipient compatibility studies by using the FT-IR technique, and size solubility. Characterization of the prepared nanoemulsion gel was done with viscosity, drug content, extrudability, spreadability, solubility and morphology study (SEM study). The measured zeta potential of the best formulation ranged 21.35% to 29.18% which was found to be within acceptable limits. The average globule size of nanoemulsion gel range is 39.35 to 68.47nm. From the in-vitro studies, we can say that formulation shows the best drug release 89.55% within 24 hrs. The best formulation is F6 due to its good spreadability, less globule size, optimum viscosity and pH. By taking the oral route of allicin shows 22-57% bioavailability in this for altering to nanoemulsion gel form shows more bioavailability of 89.37 to 95.61%. The nanoemulgel release mechanism was described through mathematical models namely zero & first order reactions, and Higuchi processes. According to the regression coefficient results established that the best formulation follows first-order kinetics with non-Fickian diffusion.
