Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The aim of this study is to substantiate the necessity of forming a portrait of the modern teacher, grounded in axiological dominants and humanistic principles as fundamental values driving the transformation of their personality. The article theoretically justifies the reasons behind the contemporary transformation of the teacher’s image, analyzes problems related to the preparation of future teachers, and demonstrates the significance of developing methodological culture as the foundation of the professional and personal competence of the modern educator. The scientific novelty of the research lies in creating a portrait of the future foreign language teacher based on the analysis of studies and publications revealing the multifaceted nature of the educator; identifying ways to minimize the negative perceptions of the modern teacher’s image in public consciousness; and providing scientifically grounded recommendations for shaping their personality. The study concludes that the transformation of the teacher’s image is inevitable due to both objective and subjective reasons. These changes highlight the need for continuous monitoring and the development of technologies aimed at forming value dominants in the personality during university training.
