Abstract: This article introduces the EdutekaLab platform, developed by the Eduteka Center at Universidad Icesi (Cali, Colombia) as a response to the educational challenges posed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into teaching practices. EdutekaLab offers innovative tools aimed at strengthening 21st-century skills in students and supporting teachers in creating personalized learning experiences based on active, student-centered methodologies. This study documents the experience and perceptions of 408 Latin American educators regarding the use of the platform, based on qualitative data obtained from surveys conducted with teachers who have used the platform regularly. Key findings demonstrate the platform’s effectiveness in fostering creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and inclusive educational practices among students. Some of its tools, like Gamifika, Idea, and Rubrik, are also highlighted for their roles in gamifying learning, facilitating formative assessments, and personalizing lesson plans. The article concludes with a discussion on the challenges and opportunities to improve digital literacy among teachers and promote equitable access to technological resources. EdutekaLab establishes itself as a significant tool for transforming educational practices in diverse socioeconomic contexts and advancing the goals of Education 4.0 and Sustainable Development Goal 4.
