Abstract: ABSTRACT We document predation and surplus killing of Aglyptodactylus frogs by ring‐tailed vontsira (Galidia elegans) during an explosive breeding event in northern Madagascar. The observation shows how synchronized reproduction after a cyclone provides an important feeding opportunity for a predator.
