Abstract: This abstract discusses the impact of the Digital Services Act (Regulation 2022 (EU) 2022/2065 of 19 October 2022) and of the Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2023) on access to language data for research purposes. The referred legal acts significantly contribute to the existing regulatory infrastructure for language research at the EU level.
