Abstract: The aim of this work is to highlight secondary metabolites, to quantify total polyphenols and to evaluate the antioxidant activity of Raphionacme daronii and Raphionacme brownii, two plants from the Apponaceae family.The gravimetric method allowed to determine the water content of the tubers, equal to 92.85% for R. daronii and 94.61% for R. brownii.Chemical screening of extracts of the tubers and the aerial part including the stems and leaves of the two plants, showed the presence of terpenes/sterols, polyphenols and flavonoids.The polyphenol and flavonoid contents were determined by Chemical Profiling …
