Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Cloud computing has become a vital tool for startups aiming to scale efficiently while prioritizing sustainability. By enabling cost reduction, streamlined operations, and global accessibility, cloud technology empowers startups to innovate rapidly without the need for heavy infrastructure investments. This paper investigates the role of cloud-based solutions in promoting sustainable growth among startups, particularly in resource-constrained regions. It also explores the challenges associated with cloud adoption, such as security concerns, integration complexity, and skills shortages. Through a mixed-methods approach, the study evaluates real-world cases—including GreenBite, an Indian food-tech startup—and offers strategic recommendations for startups to maximize cloud benefits while minimizing associated risks.
