Abstract: This article proposes to question the problem of affectivity in contemporary education. With this purpose, the concept of «happiness» in vogue is investigated, the temporal transformations of the era that affect individual and collective emotionality are analyzed (espe- cially the difference between free time and busy time) and their effects on the educational community are discussed.
