Abstract: Sphenoid sinus fungal ball is an uncommon disease that often occurs in adult patients, due to the rarity of sphenoid diseases in the pediatric population. To our knowledge, we were able to describe the first case of isolated sphenoid fungal ball, or mycetoma, in a child. No previous cases have been mentioned in the literature. We are presenting the case of a pediatric patient who presented with a long-standing refractory headache.
