Abstract: Case Series A 53-year-old patient presented with severe chemical injury. During the post-operative period developed severe corneal scarring and melt requiring limbal transplant (SLET) and subsequent Femtosecond PKP.Despite a regular corneal surface his vision was limited by a very large angle alpha affecting topography. This was successfully managed with a scleral contact lens.A second case of high angle alpha affecting topographic outcome is also presented.Summary Where possible angle alpha/kappa should probably be evaluated prior to anterior keratoplasty. Current expert opinion on this assessment technique as well as graft centration is sought.
