Abstract: The optimisation of a suitable mixed ligand dirhodium( ii , ii ) catalyst for chemoselective hydroaminomethylation of olefins was carried out using four previously synthesised heteroleptic dirhodium( ii , ii ) acetato-bipyridyl complexes (1–4).
