Abstract: СТОМАТОЛОГІЯ / DENTISTRYinto account the implementa琀椀on of an individual rehabilita琀椀on program for the pa琀椀ent.At the stages of treatment, a study was conducted of the impact of pain, its dura琀椀on on the quality of life, physical and mental health of the pa琀椀ent.For this, ques琀椀onnaires were used, according to which joint problems of the temporomandibular joint in combina琀椀on with peripheral trigeminal neuralgia reduced the quality of dental health.The pa琀椀ent underwent complex therapy.Acupuncture re昀氀ex analgesia in the amount of 12 sessions.The pain scale indicators decreased to "0-1".Irradia琀椀on with blue light (spectrum B-2) -7 days.A昀琀er the course, pain sensa琀椀ons in the le昀琀 part of the face disappeared, the pain scale indicators were "0-1".An individual maxillary dental cap was made for the pa琀椀ent, which e昀昀ec琀椀vely relaxed the lateral pterygoid muscles in the area of the le昀琀 temporomandibular joint, which reduced pain, helped reduce pressure on the lower jaw, allowed the periar琀椀cular muscles to func琀椀on correctly, and improved the bite ra琀椀o.The osteopath performed 8 massage sessions of the cervical spine and le昀琀 half of the face.Individually selected sets of qigong therapy exercises were prescribed for the projec琀椀on zones of the face and cervical spine, a昀琀er which the pa琀椀ent's well-being improved.A昀琀er the treatment, the MRI scan showed normalisa琀椀on of the ra琀椀o of the ar琀椀cular heads, anterior and posterior meniscus poles.We have con昀椀rmed the feasibility of using the proposed algorithm for the examina琀椀on and treatment of a pa琀椀ent with TMJPD on the background of peripheral trigeminal neuralgia, taking into account the posi琀椀ve results obtained, which are con昀椀rmed by the methods of evidence-based medicine.
