Abstract: СТОМАТОЛОГІЯ / DENTISTRYextrac琀椀on, but con琀椀nued orthodon琀椀c treatment, and 3% refused treatment at all.In almost half of the cases, 47% of pa琀椀ents with Class III according to Engle, tooth extrac琀椀on were indicated, for Class I and II this indicator was 43% and 49%, respec琀椀vely.The age of the pa琀椀ents was 12-24 years.Among the teeth removed for orthodon琀椀c indica-琀椀ons, the following mainly occurred: 昀椀rst premolars (59% of cases), second upper premolars (13% of cases, mainly in cases of carious damage to this tooth), in a single case, the 昀椀rst lower molars were removed, which was due to the presence of chronic periodon琀椀琀椀s of one tooth.Orthodon琀椀c treatment mainly requires the involvement of not only an orthodon琀椀st, but also related specialists, o昀琀en dental surgeons.Therefore, tooth extrac琀椀on should be planned collec琀椀vely, which is due to the forma琀椀on of a func琀椀onal and aesthe琀椀c op琀椀mum.
