Practical Innovations in Cultivating Top-Notch Innovative Talents through the Integration of Education and Science—A Case Study of New Research Universities

Abstract: 在统筹推进教育科技人才“三位一体”改革的战略背景下，科教融汇成为破解拔尖创新人才培养难题的关键路径。聚焦五所典型新型研究型大学，通过多案例分析揭示科教融汇培养拔尖创新人才的实践创新：高等院校与科研院所协同共育、依托大科学装置构建科研实践平台、教学与科研一体化融合推进。新型研究型大学通过制度性整合优质科教资源，显著提升了拔尖创新人才自主培养效能，为破解关键核心技术瓶颈提供了人才支撑。未来需进一步深化资源整合与模式创新，以提升人才自主培养能力，服务高水平科技自立自强战略。Under the strategic framework of advancing the integrated reform of education, science and technology, and talent development, the synergistic integration of science and education has emerged as a pivotal pathway for cultivating top-tier innovative talent. Focusing on five exemplary new research-oriented universities, this multi-case study reveals innovative practices in nurturing such talent through science-education integration, including: collaborative education between higher education institutions and research institutes, building research practice platforms based on major science infrastructure, and the holistic integration of teaching and research. By institutionally consolidating high-quality science and education resources, these universities have significantly enhanced the effectiveness of self-reliant cultivation of elite innovative talent, thereby providing critical human capital support for overcoming bottlenecks in key core technologies. Future efforts should deepen resource integration and model innovation to strengthen independent talent cultivation capacity, ultimately supporting the national strategy of achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance.
