Abstract: Stress factors in the work of drivers of motor vehicles are analyzed. The research of professional stressors in the activity of drivers of SPb GUP “Passazhazhiravtotrans” is made. Stress factors in profession-al activity of drivers of social bus routes, their possible reasons of occurrence and consequences of stressors influence on hu-man organism are considered. Nervous-psychic tension in the drivers of SPb GUP “Passazhazhiravtotrans” is investigated. The general level of stress resistance of drivers was determined by means of tests. The dependence between the general level of stress and stress resistance of drivers was analyzed. The dependence between the number of penalties from one person during two years and his stress resistance has been revealed.
