Study of Water Injection Impact on Environmental Parameters of Small- Displacement Power Unit

Abstract: The article presents the results of an experimental study investigating the effect of a water injection system on the performance parameters of a Yamaha single-cylinder low-power gasoline engine. The results demonstrated optimal efficiency with 10 % water injection, achieving a 25-27 % reduction in NOx emissions and fuel savings of up to 8 %.
