Experience of Project Activities in Studying the Discipline "history" in an Agrarian University

Abstract: The article describes the author's experience in using the project method in the system of professional training of students of an agricultural university when studying the discipline "History of Russia". The effectiveness of using project-based learning methods to improve the educational process is considered. Problems and tasks for motivating students' interest in the subject are noted. The mechanism of implementation is described using the example of a research and information-analytical project. The advantages of using the project method in educational activities are determined. Approaches to developing a project using archival data and Internet resources are noted, the prospects for using this method in the course are analyzed. Some student works are given as an example of interaction between a student and a teacher of an agricultural university.
