Analysis of Dynamics and Forecasting of Volumes of Loading of Construction Cargoes on Railway Transport

Abstract: The article analyzes the dynamics of loading volumes of construction goods on railway transport in January 2005-2024. The main indicators of the time series have been calculated, including absolute growth, growth rates and gains. To identify trends, the methods of mechanical and analytical alignment were used, on the basis of which the trend equation was constructed. The results allowed us to predict the volume of loading for January 2025, which, according to calculations, will range from 4,678.41 thousand tons to 9,104.31 thousand tons. Forward-looking estimates can be applied to optimize logistics processes and strategic planning of rail transportation in the construction sector.
