Abstract: This article aims to explore the role Blas Piñar played at the Instituto de Cultura Hispánica (ICH) during his tenure from 1957 to 1962. Under his leadership, he reimagined the concept of Hispanidad to foster Spain’s political, intellectual, and military collaboration with Latin America. Using sources from the Fundación Blas Piñar (FPB), this study highlights how the Institute was a deeply personal endeavor, inseparable from his life story and his combative spirit, which was intrinsically linked to the idea of social renewal.
