Electronic justice in Ukraine: current state, challenges and lessons from foreign experienceThe article reveals the current state of the implementation of electronic justice in Ukraine and analyzes foreign experience in the application of information and communication technologies in the field of justice. It is noted that the process of implementing electronic justice in Ukraine, which has been ongoing since 2015, remains incomplete and is characterized by slow, fragmented development, accompanied by numerous challenges of a regulatory, organizational and technical nature. The experience of operating electronic judicial systems in Singapore, Estonia, Lithuania, Spain, Brazil, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy is studied. It is emphasized that today there is no single approach to the digitalization of justice, each country forms its own model of implementing e-justice, focusing on the specifics of the legal system, the level of institutional development, the existing digital infrastructure, the needs of users, as well as socio-economic and political conditions.Such a variable approach determines the diversity of organizational solutions, technological tools and regulatory and legal support, which are implemented within the framework of the digital transformation of the judiciary in different jurisdictions. It is concluded that today it is important for Ukraine to implement an e-court system based on a holistic strategy, integration of all stages of the process, publicprivate partnership and active support of the legal community (the experience of Singapore and Brazil), unification of digital systems, transparency and centralized case management (the experience of Singapore, Estonia, Lithuania), taking into account possible technological, legal or financial risks (the experience of Spain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands). The implementation of e-justice should not be part of a technological innovation, but a component of a holistic judicial reform. This approach implies the need to ensure legal certainty of procedures, stability and reliability of technical infrastructure, as well as compliance with high standards of ethics, transparency and digital security.Only under the conditions of comprehensive modernization, which will combine technological solutions with regulatory and organizational capacity, e-justice can become an effective mechanism for increasing trust in the judicial system and implementing the rule of law in Ukraine.
