Abstract: With the development of new media technology, sports broadcasting has become increasingly diverse, attracting a large number of students from new media communication programs. For students in new media communication, sports broadcasting is an interdisciplinary learning application, and their level of engagement and immersion during broadcasting affects their overall learning experience. This study aims to explore the relationship between the flow experience and well-being of new media communication students involved in sports broadcasting. The findings reveal that when students achieve a high level of flow experience in sports broadcasting, their sense of accomplishment and well-being are enhanced, which in turn fosters their learning motivation and interest in professional development. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of learners' psychological processes in the new media environment and provide insights for educational institutions and the media industry to optimize training and practical opportunities for students in the field of sports broadcasting.
