Abstract: National security is dynamically assailed by increasingly complex challenges caused by technological developments, cyber risks, and asymmetric conflicts.In today's volatile context, quick and well-informed decisions are required to effectively manage these dynamic uncertainties and threats.The article outlines the contribution of operations research and artificial intelligence in strategic decision optimization.The connectivity between operations research and artificial intelligence enables the modeling of crisis scenarios, predictive analysis and risk assessment, providing emerging solutions to support national security and the sustainability of the current decision-making process.
