Abstract: Lorand Gaspar’s poetry plunges us into the meanders of the living and the human, confronts us with infinity and contingent, and places us halfway between science and poetry. Crossed by the energy of the living, caught between ebb and flow, between doubt and certainty, between veiling and unveiling, Gaspar’s poem exposes the enigma and the world through the expression of paradox and that of the complexity. The poet’s work combines chemistry with biology and physics with astrophysics to describe a world as complex as it is mysterious, as rich as it is precarious. We are therefore witnessing a difficult quest that tests the exercise of poetic creation.
