Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This research aims to design and develop an IoT-based voting system utilizing ESP32, RFID modules, and MQTT protocol. The primary issue addressed is the lack of efficiency and transparency in traditional voting systems. The objective is to create a secure, reliable, and userfriendly voting solution leveraging IoT technology. The methodology involves integrating hardware components, such as ESP32 and RFID, with MQTT for real-time data communication and NodeRED for data processing and feedback. The findings demonstrate that the system successfully verifies voters via UID, records voting results accurately, and provides feedback to voters in realtime. This system enhances the transparency and integrity of the voting process while preventing duplicate voting attempts. The IoT-based voting system offers a scalable and innovative solution that can be further improved with additional security features and deployment in real-world election
